Ok, at last - the new track video slot is booked - filming starts this Wednesday (27th June) and I'm really looking forward to it. If it goes ok then I'll have my first vid on youtube!!
I'm also thinking about a quick competition - the prize being that three fans or 'Likes' get a mention, with my personal thanks, into the liner notes of my debut album - recording starts in July (I'll be re-recording some of the tracks you've already heard, together with new instrumental and vocal stuff). Open to suggestions about what the competition should be about, so how about dropping me a line with your idea/s.
I'm also looking for good, experienced blues / rock vocalists to collaborate on some of the tracks, so again, let me know if you know of someone.
Thanks

Hi,
Well, this is my first real news update so I'll start by letting you know that I've just uploaded a new instrumental track called 'Seize The Day' and, as the recording process is a long learning experience, I've remixed some of the existing tracks for a better sound.
Next week I will be recording a new video in a local studio - I'll probably use 'Seize The Day' for the soundtrack - this is exciting and quite a departure for me as I didn't really want the fuss, but I'm advised that these days video is king and the additional exposure via youtube et al could help things along.
I'm still recording the tracks in my home studio which is great but I'm becoming more ambitious and I'm saving up to record a full album in a pro studio, with both instrumental and vocal tracks. Let me know if you would like to get involved with this and I'll send further details.
Ok. That's it for this update so, until next time ...
Take care and thanks again for listening.

The Beu Sisters- Guests on Twitter Tuesday Live - 7th February 2012 Once upon a time, there was a TV program called "The Ed Sullivan Show" that thrilled audiences around the world with live appearances with the likes of The Jackson Five, The Osmonds, The Isley Brothers and more You know what? Ed missed out big time because Twitter Tuesday Live got the Beu Sisters!!!!!
If you have never heard of the Beu Sisters, I can guarantee that, after reading this blog and hearing the podcast of today's show, you will be "Beulified over the "Beulicious" trio!
Episode 62 of Twitter Tuesday Live has officially been renamed "TWITTER BEUSDAY LIVE"
8pm, the theme song is starts, then, I hear a familiar voice over the airwaves, but wait ..what has made the host of Twitter Tuesday Live gone ga ga.................. Yes, our guests, joining us all the way from in Florida, three beautiful and talented sisters! Meet Candice, Danielle and Christy.....THE BEU SISTERS!
The correct way to pronounce the name is Beu as in Beu- ti- ful! Being an Aussie, I was going to say Beu as in Spew, but Mark would kill me for saying that! Oops I just did!
Anyway, what can I say about today's show other than it was fantastic! The sisters captivated the audience for the whole show! They were vibrant, energetic, witty and just about stole the show!Mark suggested they have their own reality show; now that would be awesome!
Not only do the BEU SISTERS produce top quality, well produced songs, they make awesome videos too. With so much work going into them, they are like mini movies and they are a great credit to the girls!
Just before the show started I received an email from Mark regarding a new video that the sisters have just released. They had done their interpretation of the 1987 classic by Rick Astley "Never Gonna Give You Up" which they released to coincide with his birthday on 6th Feb! Now this song has always been a favorite song of mine as it came out around the time my daughter was born, and it's one of those songs that to me cannot be remade......well they didn't try to remake it, they did their own version - slow RnB feel to it! They owned it, they have made it their own! Here is the link, please check it out and if you feel the same way as I do about the song, post a comment and tell them!

Talking of Birthdays, it was my birthday today too, well it's the 8th but being in Australia I am a day ahead! I was treated to a lovely arcapello rendition of "Happy Birthday" and if course all of a sudden it was everyone's Birthday!!! Lol
With 16 years in the music business, and so many credit to their name, its refreshing to hear how much they enjoy what they do. Like last weeks guest, they too were signed with a major record label and now are independent doing their own thing! It goes to show what you can achieve as an independent artist!
The show ran way over today....I wonder why! At the end of every show I always ask my husband Mark how it was, his answer today was "That has to be the best show yet Carol" so I highly recommend you listen for yourselves and see for yourselves just how amazing THE BEU SISTERS are! I will just add that I thought they were the female version of BOSCO AND PEC...yes that was another show!! During the show we showcased three songs from the Beu Sisters all of which can be found on our rotation:
DEFINITION OF A LADY - The quintessential female anthem, this song speaks for a generation of women who are done listening to lyrics that refer to them as "gold diggers, bitches & ho's", but instead are recognized as the rounded, creative, spirited, and exceptionally beu-tiful ladies they truly are.
ON MY MIND -If you've ever felt an attraction to/connection with someone special and wondered if it's all in your imagination or if there might be a little more to it? This is your new song!
DAZE "Twitterpated!" If you don't know the meaning of this phrase coined by the Disney classic "Bambi", its pretty simple to understand...it means Spring Fever & falling in love with LOVE...both of which encapsulate the song "Daze".
Please check out THE BEU SISTERS WEB PAGE and connect with these wonderful girls!

Candice, Danielle and Christy it was an absolute pleasure meeting you all! You were true processionals and I have to say stole the show! Mark and I had a fantastic time meeting and talking to you all, and it was nice that you appeared on my birthday so it made it even more special. A big thank you for taking your time out to appear on our show! We would welcome you back in a heartbeat!
We also featured the following songs from our new artists that have beed added to the rotation. All these songs can be heard by going to our web page and hitting the request button!
WARNER DRIVE - Ok K Go
SAM BRADLEY - Wide Open (This is the most requested song on our rotation, and as the show aired it had been requested 978 times!)

Carol
